THE PRACTISE LIST

This book is a personal collection of improvising ideas set out as an organised practice list. All the practise material from my books on improvisation are brought together in this book.

I was hoping to limit each practise exercise to just one page but here and there there was just too much stuff for one page. Where there is only one page, and you want to explore the reason for and the theory behind each exercise, you'll find that info in the source book listed on the right hand side of each 'Practise List'.

For my own practise routines I've allocated each day as follows:

Mon:  Major

Tues: Minor

Wed: Dom

Thu:  Chromaticism

Fri:    Enclosures

Sat:   Diminished
